Massive Murray Paddle Official Charity
The Dungulayin Mileka Team is proud to announce that our official charity partner for the 2026 Massive Murray Paddle (MMP) is the Blues & Brothers Foundation.
The Foundation has been established to honour the vision and legacy of the founders of the Massive Murray Paddle Program and the many Aboriginal community leaders, Elders, Victoria Police members and volunteers who have helped shape the program over more than two decades.
Its purpose is to create opportunities for Aboriginal young people by supporting leadership development, cultural connection, education, health and wellbeing, and community engagement. The Foundation exists to ensure that the legacy of the Massive Murray Paddle continues to inspire and support future generations.

We are also pleased to announce the Foundation's first major fundraising initiative – Containers for Country.
Containers for Country is a community fundraising campaign that invites individuals, families, organisations and communities across Victoria to return eligible drink containers through Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme and donate the proceeds to the Blues & Brothers Foundation.
Funds raised will directly support the 2026 Massive Murray Paddle Program and future initiatives that empower Aboriginal young people through culture, leadership and positive pathways.
We'll be encouraging communities to collect containers at NAIDOC Week celebrations, community events, sporting carnivals, workplaces, schools and in their own homes. Every eligible container returned is another investment in the future of our young people.
As part of the 2026 Massive Murray Paddle Program, participants will also play an active role in supporting the Foundation through fundraising activities, reinforcing the importance of giving back to community and creating opportunities for those who follow.
